Compact track loaders
Compact track loaders are small rubber-tracked machines with lift arms and a quick-attach plate at the front. They are used for grading, site prep, landscaping, material handling and running a wide range of attachments such as buckets, pallet forks, augers, mulchers and trenchers. Tracks spread the machine's weight, so they are often chosen for soft or uneven ground.
Useful comparison specs include operating weight, rated operating capacity, and tipping load. Lift path (radial or vertical) and hinge-pin height affect loading work. Track width, track length on ground and ground pressure describe flotation. Overall width and height matter for access and transport. For attachment work, compare engine power and standard and high-flow auxiliary hydraulic flow and pressure.
Across the 53 models listed here, operating weight ranges from about 2,914 to 7,394 kg (6,424 to 16,300 lb). Brands covered: Bobcat, Case, Caterpillar, Gehl, JCB, John Deere, Kubota, Manitou, New Holland, Takeuchi.
