Trailer-fit checker

Moving a machine between jobs starts with three numbers: how tall the load is on the trailer, how wide it is, and how much it weighs. This tool adds the machine's published height to the deck height of the trailer you pick, then compares the total with a common US legal height of 13 ft 6 in (4.11 m). It compares the machine's published width with the common 8 ft 6 in (2.59 m) limit, and its published weight with a trailer capacity you can edit.

Choose a machine from the 814 models on IronDims, then a flatbed (typical deck 60 in), step deck (40 in) or RGN/lowboy (22 in), or enter your own deck height. Where the manufacturer publishes a transport height, the tool uses it; otherwise it uses overall height, and it always says which figure it used. If a value is not published, the tool says so instead of guessing. Default trailer capacities are ballpark figures only.
